Orthodontic Appointments

First Choice Dental Orthodontics team is proud to care for your smile. We get to know you through a series of appointments during your ortho treatment plan. Some appointments take just 20 minutes while others could take 40 minutes or more. Most patients prefer to be seen before or after school or work. We would love to accommodate every patient however it is impossible for us to see everyone at this time. We have a schedule system that allows us to care for you, and run on time, while seeing as many patients as we can during those prime afternoon and morning hours!

Short Appointments

These appointments are approximately 20-30 minutes and are scheduled before 9 am and after 3 pm. This helps us to accommodate most patients during these heavily sought after times.

Long Appointments

These appointments require 40 minutes or longer. We schedule these appointments in the late mornings and early afternoons. We are happy to provide a school/work excuse for any appointment.

Late Arrivals

Staying on schedule makes a happy clinic! We value each and every patient’s time. We may not be able to see patients who are late and may need to reschedule the appointment. We will try to accommodate a late patient as long as it does not affect the patients who have arrived on time.

Missed/Cancelled Appointments

We schedule our appointments at 4-10 week intervals. If an appointment is missed, we may not have immediate optimal times available. We will do our best to find an appointment time that works with your schedule during our office hours. Availability for before 9 am and after 3 pm is very limited due as most patients schedule 4 to 10 weeks out to ensure they get their desired time.

Urgencies

Urgencies like those listed here can be helped immediately with wax and/or a pain reliever such as ibuprofen or Tylenol. These events require a call to your First Choice Orthodontist for an appointment. There shouldn’t be any adverse effects with your treatment as long as you are seen within the next few days.
