Dr. Katelyn Modjeski is a Madison dentist who cares for patients at our downtown (on Park Street) and Sun Prairie dental offices.
Dr. Modjeski grew up in Hixton, WI and completed her undergraduate and dental education with high honors at Marquette University in Milwaukee. She was a member of the accelerated Pre-Dental Scholars program and led the Smiles for the Future school-based sealant program in Milwaukee Public Schools.
After dental school, Dr. Modjeski furthered her training by serving our nation's veterans in the general practice residency (GPR) program at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago. There she received state-of-the-art training in everything from treating medically compromised patients to complex treatment planning to implant placement and restoration and crown-in-a-day technology. After completing her residency and working in private practice in Chicago, Dr. Modjeski is excited to be back in Wisconsin.
Her caring, gentle demeanor puts patients at ease. With a hospital dentistry background, dentistry as part of overall healthcare is very important to Dr. Modjeski. She enjoys working with patients from 1-100, whether it is a first dental visit at 12 months old to elderly patients with special medical considerations.
Dr. Modjeski is a member of the American Dental Association and Chicago Dental Society. She is also an active volunteer with the Madison Dental Initiative where every month she provides free dental services to local patients in need at the Salvation Army dental clinic.
In her free time, she enjoys hot yoga, running along the lake and traveling to visit family and friends.
