First Choice Dental as a company is not a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) nor the Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA), although some of our individual dentists are members. The WDA views dental issues as bipartisan and so do we. We strive to work cooperatively with elected officials from both political parties, based on their positions on issues impacting the quality of dental care.
The Wisconsin Dental Political Action Committee (WIDPAC) is a separate organization from the WDA. WIDPAC is also focused on dental care, not political party affiliation. In 2010, they provided support to both gubernatorial candidates and many state legislative candidates from both parties, based on their position on dental health issues. WIDPAC did not endorse any candidates.
